System is fried?

So basically, I leave my work PC on over the weekend. I sometimes use services to access the computer from home.

I came into work this morning however to my PC's fans revving harder than any PC fan I've heard before.

Upon further inspection the PC is stuck on a windows update. It seems to get to 72% and the fans go mental and it just black screens, no BSOD or any indication, it just puts the screen in stand-by and the fans go crazy. The fans revving are the CPU and case fans.

System Spec;

Alienware X51
i7 3770
GTX660Ti
8GB RAM.

All other parts are the same on each X51 I believe.

If anyone could help that'd be great.

Yeah I rebooted, went into the BIOS and made sure everything was stock, afterwards booted and the CPU fried.

Confusing as the system actually booted into windows. Good thing is I don't have an alienware at work anymore ;) weirdest thing I have come across but the CPU is definitely fried and I think the mobo might be a bit on the dead side too. Doesn't really bother me though.
