When I tried to boot my computer today, I did not receive any image from my monitor and my mouse and keyboard did not work. Everything in the computer appeared to be working (the fans were on, the gpu light was on etc.)
After clearing the CMOS and having no luck, I tried reinserting my ram. My computer started but when I shut it down again, I had the same problem problem and have to reinsert the ram again in order to boot. A weird also started happening: when I start the computer, the top fan starts for a second, shuts off and then starts again (only after I reseat the ram, when it the computer does not start up, the top fan does not turn back on).
My memory was set to xmp profile 1
I ran memtest for 8 hours and did not receive any errosr. Does anybody have any idea what the problem would be?
