Hello,

I'm currently attempting to build a smooth running audio production PC. I had a helpful thread bookmarked but lost it somehow. I'm currently ordering parts as I can afford them. I have a

https://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=N82E16813157683&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-Mobile&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-Mobile-_-pla-_-Motherboards+-+Intel-_-N82E16813157683&gclid=CMuT_rL8rM8CFYM8gQodpIcI8A&gclsrc=aw.ds

So far and was curious what my next, or total component build should be. As far as what's compatible and in my budget.

Do I want DDR3 or DDR4 ram? I see it's compatible with DDR4. What size case do I need?

I currently see a combo sale deal to save $40 with

And

Would this be good for my build?

This is my first build and would like to learn as much as possible.

Your H170 chipset only accepts DDR4 memory. The DDR3 modules you listed will not work. On your budget, look toward a less expensive case..

Appreciate the feedback guys, so the build posted would be effecient? I already have a motherboard so could I throw the difference towards a better case?

Is DDR4 ram 'better' than DDR3?
