Hi,

I know these things aren't always reliable, but I've just run a benchmark test on my system and I'm kind of baffled. A few things came out in the lower percentiles for performance and I can't think of why. Here are the results I got:

UserBenchmarks: Game 75%, Desk 74%, Work 45%
CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K - 88.2%
GPU: Nvidia GTX 970 - 81.7% (40th percentile)
SSD: Samsung 840 Evo 120GB - 57.8% (8th percentile)
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1TB - 75% (14th percentile)
RAM: HyperX Savage DDR3 1600 C9 2x4GB - 50.5%
MBD: Asus P8Z77-V LK

My only thought is it could be my MBD, I've had it for 3 years and so maybe I'm in need of a replacement Any assistance/advice would be most appreciated.

Many thanks in advance,
Ollie

Your results may not be as bad as you think. I assume that your results are compared to other systems with the same specs. This being the case, other systems and components may score higher because of things like overclocking, drivers, OS, etc. I frequently use Overdrive at PCPitStop.com to test PC performance as compared to similar set ups. It will also give you specific recommendations as to how to improve performance.

Thanks a lot BadActor. I couldn't find the Overdrive app on their website, so I went with Optimise (closest thing I could find) and it didn't provide me with any recommendations regarding the performance of my computer.

Perhaps you're right and it is nothing to be worried about, however I have been experience some drops in performance when playing relatively mid spec games (i.e. Fallout 4) which is why I started looking in the first place. I may have to explore further to find the problems I am facing.

Many thanks,
Ollie
