Hey all, so I've been running my rig off of the Intel HD (R) integrated GPU and I've been having issues finding games I'd be able to play without stressing the system. I found a game called Duelyst, having a blast, but I have some performance issues on a bit-graphics game and it erks me from time to time.

I checked the req's for the game, and it said Open GL 3.1 + Compliant, which I'm not completely sure what it means so I'd like to jump on here and see if anyone can straighten me out, thanks.

What is a duo i5? That doesn't exist. Is this a prebuilt PC, if so what brand and model?

Your issues are most likely caused by lack of VRAM, and an older system that just can't keep up with the game, or windows thats clogged up with software running in the background.

Makes sense, but I'm not most tech literate. The rig has 6GB RAM, duo i5 @ 3.2. The thought is that my PSU caused my non-integrated gpu to fail, which is where I'm running into most of the problems, I can get max 126mb out of my integrated through BIOS. D:

The PC was gifted to me by a friend, again, not tech literate. I'm assuming it's just the VRAM then, it only occurs when there are big effects on screen. Could also be background, so I'll give it a check. Thanks friend.

I'm guessing the OP has the i5 650, which is a dual core CPU with Intel HD Graphics. The Intel graphics on the first generation processors was pretty bad, so performance issues on anything vaguely resembling a modern game are to be expected.

I assumed he was confusing Core2Duo with i5 but this makes perfect sense.
