What is the difference 4 Way SLI vs Quad GPU SLI?Same?

I found on Asus website under mother board filters
4 way SLi, 4 Way CFX - 4 way means 4 nvidia or AMD card on Motherboard.
But what is Quad GPU SLI/Quad GPU CFX

4 way SLI is for 2x Dual cards. Quad SLI is four cards. SLI needs x8 bandwidth from each slot, whereas XFire only needs X4, so a lot of boards can support Quad XFire, but only 2x NVidia cards. With the dual GPU cards though, you can use two cards, but have a 4X SLI configuration.
