Have a 3 year old Corsair GS600 PSU, went away for the weekend, came back, switched on PC and fan noise was very loud. Initially suspected CPU temp increase but checked core temperatures and were low (36 Celsius min, 40 max), so opened the case and noise is coming from the PSU fan, which is spinning significantly louder than it ever has before, way louder than any of the other fans.

Have tried spraying with compressed air in situ but haven't removed yet as hoping there's another fix I can try. Happy to be told I just need to buy a new one given this is bit older, but would of course prefer to fix existing. Some electronics experience (I built the PC using lots of good advise from here) so happy to attempt basic fix with some disassembly if need be.

EDIT: it does seem to get even louder when I run games, suggesting it is related to load somehow

Thanks in advance!
