Hello there, I had a machine working on Windows 10 perfectly.

MOBO Asrock z87 Extreme 6
i5 4960k
16 GB ram
GTX 770Ti

I upgraded my PC and got

Asrock z170 Extreme 6
16 6600
16 GB corsair led 3000 MHz DDr4
GTX 770Ti

On first boot the motherboad said that there was an error with LAN MAC address. I followed Asrock guides and I managed to fix it. After that I upgraded MOBO's UEFI. On Windows 10 startup LAN was disconnected, big red cross. I installed all the drivers from the CD exept for the LAN ones since Intel driver installer didnt detect any network adapter.

After some randoms restart and driver update I could finally detect the Adapter in the Device tab on Control Panel. Intell installer gave same issue.

I tried boot another operating system such as Kali Linux and Internet worked perfectly.

I saw online to reinstall windows or something like that but I would like to keep all my files.

Can you help me? Sorry for bad english tho

Sometimes driver booster (http://www.iobit.com/en/driver-booster-pro.php?AFF=40025&__c=1) finds items the intel installer can't. Make sure to look at each item it says needs updating before you do anything.
The other option is in my case I knew it was a realtek adaper and went to their site and installed the driver directly, and that kicked it into gear and it worked. If you know the manufacturer, worth a try.

Good luck :)
