i3 + GTX1060 vs i5 + RX460?

That is going to depend on the game and whether it's GPU or CPU limited. In general, the GTX1060 combo will be better but it will be very hit and miss. Really, you want the i5 AND the GTX1060. Keep saving for just a bit longer would be my advice.
