So I have a Sapphire RX 470 (4gb Edition) and the computer that i was actually using and thinking about fixing has 2 more problems im not willing to fix,

my question is that is it worth me getting this? and adding my gpu to it since it only comes with an apu?

I also have an AMD ATHLON X4 860k which may or may not work, is it also worth me changing that out?

Solution
You would probably need to upgrade your psu if you want to add any video card, but yes it would work. Just make sure it fits in your case before buying.

well i also have an extra 430 evga psu which im assuming will work and thanks! ill check if it fits before i buy it, thanks for fast reply ;)

I might also suggest looking around more and looking for a build with a CPU rather than an APU. CPU's tend to perform better and an APU is unnecessary if you're adding a video card in my opinion.

Or go part shopping and fill in the blanks if you feel up to building.
