Hi,
Looking for a new PC at quite a budget (around £650 max.) and my current setup being three 720p TV's. So far I've seen combinations (All with at least 8GB RAM) such as Intel i5 4460 with GTX 1060 and AMD FX-4300 with RX 480. Would you think these combinations would work well with my setup or would you recommend anything else?
Thanks, Cameron

I would not go for that machine. For one thing, there's a large markup over the cost of the parts alone, and it comes configured with a single 8GB stick of DDR3, so you won't have the benefits of dual channel. Also, it doesn't specify whether or not the DDR3 they chose is low voltage, and if it isn't, it risks burning out the CPU's memory controller. It doesn't have a solid state drive (extremely important for system responsiveness) and lastly, probably includes a no-name power supply.

For a similar price, you can assemble a PC that has a solid state drive, good power supply, and a video card around twice as fast:

CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core...

Thanks for the fast reply!
Yeah gaming. Mainly Project CARS, Dirt Rally and F1.
I will have a look into those two and see thanks! Would these be able to run at high settings in-game?

That's brilliant thanks!

So do I buy each of these parts separately and build the PC myself as I'm pretty clueless in this area or is it simple enough?

Hi there,
All the parts have arrived. I tried building my PC but hours later I've still gotten nowhere. I followed everything the tutorial has said and I'm 80% sure everything is connected in the right place but when I turn the PC on the only thing that seems to work is the LED power light.
Thanks

I'll help you out later this evening, but in the mean time, perhaps someone else on the forum can assist you.
