I'm getting a GTX 1080 in about a week and i was wondering if I should keep my 780ti as a "physX" GPU as i've read in places that having a dedicated card for PhysX can increase FPS in games that rely on the tech. I wouldn't really have any idea on how to set it up like that but I do not even know if it is worth is since the cards have such a significant difference in performance. My PSU can handle both cards no problem. Any suggestions?

Thank you!

You could run it as a dedicated PhysX card but in my experience (GTX 1070 + GTX 550Ti on PhysX) the performance benefits, in the very few games that support it, are negligible. Especially when you already have a GTX 1080, it will do just fine processing it's own PhysX.
If you want to keep the card then sure, go for it, it's actually pretty straightforward to setup. But might not be worth the amount of $$ you could get for it IMO...
