So I was watching a video on youtube when all a sudden my pc screen went black. Restarted pc and got nothing except error 99. Messed around with gpus, took them out and put them back in. Then I restarted and loaded into the bios and check and only 1 pci-e is showing up. I know everything is hooked up correctly because I double and triple checked. No water leaks, and ran for about a week before this happen
Also might be related but the d link(? Looks like hdmi but more square) doesnt work with gpu that works, only hdmi that I can check.

Cpu: I5 6500
2xGpu xfx 390 watercooled (max temp was around 60c)
Psu 1k watts
Mobo ASRock Z170 Extreme6
If you need more system info just let me know. Also I cant check things in other computers or use other components because I have neither.

Solution
The error 99 related to the GPU, like you said one of pcie was gone.
So try update the chipset driver, that comes with the pcie controller driver. https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/20775 Even update the BIOS. If after that you can see only one pcie slot, you need to RMA the MB or buy the new one.
What brand PSU do you have? just make sure the PSU is good for CF r9 390 even it is 1K W.
