Totally lost for which, and how many, fans I should get from Canada Computers.

My pc builders website has different fans.........but which?? and how many?? do I get??

I'll be getting a normal sized case with ventalation at front, back, and top, and will have a i7-6700, GTX 1060.

My guess is at least 1 at back, front and the stock cooler on the i7......laugh at me now or no?

What case do you have or you are going to get ? Most come with some fans built in.

There are two types of computer fan; AF (air flow) and SP (static pressure). AF is designed to move as much air as possible and SP is designed to move air through tight spaces. AF is used for case fans and SP is used for CPU heatsinks and AIO radiators. Fans that move more air are generally louder, as you'd expect.

In terms of layout, this is the usual approach:

Front - intake
Side - intake
Bottom - intake
Rear - exhaust
Top - exhaust

That case has five fan mounts and all of the fans are included as standard; very generous.
