It's not my first build but it's the first time this does happen to me.

I took apart that build two times, put it back together twice and each time it still doesn't POST.

So far, I determine that my PSU and Mobo are working (I see light when I plug my rj-45 cable) but it does not POST when I press the power button. I have put the system panel cables correctly. Can't test RAM or CPU on another Mobo since it's the only one I have for LG1151 socket and DDR4 RAM...

What could it be ?

Build down there :

Got them new:
ASUS H110m-a Motherboard (LG1151)
DDR4-2133 G.Skills RAM (2x4Gb)
EVGA 430W PSU
Intel i3-6100 CPU
Random cheap Asus CD-ROM

Got them used (By myself):
An old HDD I wasn't using
An old mid tower

Solution
i would try changing the ram slots, and going with one set of ram for now. otherwise go with the system won't POST thread at the top of the forum and work your way through. its usually parts not inserted properly or loose cables.

From the thread you reffered to, there is two steps left for me to do. CMOS reset and do the RAM switch like you suggested.

I have a hard time figuring how resetting the CMOS on a brand new Motherboard would help but I'll try it too.

I'll be back later with the results.
