Hi, it depends on what games you are wanting to play. That CPU will definitely give you amazing gaming performance, but if you are only playing game slike Minecraft or Rocket League, you can go with some thing cheaper and still get good performance.

It's very very overkill for gaming. This processor is meant for content creation. Unless you're using more than 2 graphics cards, which is really dumb, then you will get the same or better performance out of a 6700k in almost every game.
