[strike]Hello people of tomshardware! I've been graciously given a bunch of old/newish computer systems, and in one was this LGA 775 cooler.

(Fans i put on myself, looks to be a passive/active cooler)

Issue is, There is no markings or anything on the cooler. Making it hard to buy a bracket for it. I'm going to try modifying the current bracket to see if i can get holes aligned with the LGA 1155 backplate I have (Maybe do some modifications to that) But if that doesn't work, I'd like to know if its possible to buy a bracket for this (And I know I can get a Hyper 212 evo, but this monstrosity looks like it may cool better. [/strike]

NEVER MIND. Its a thermalright AXP-140.

The Prescott and Cedar Mill Pentium 4 cores, as well as the Smithfield and Presler Pentium D cores, used the LGA 775 socket. In July 2006, Intel released the desktop processor Core 2 Duo (codenamed Conroe), which also uses this socket, as does the subsequent Core 2 Quad. I owned an EVGA Nvidia Chipset Mboard that went through an E6300 and subsequently a Q6600 before I graduated to the Z87 Chipset mounted by a Core i7 2600K.

Err... I need info on the Heatsink, not the sockets. ;)
