Hello Tom's Hardware

in my build i have an amd a10-7860k apu and currently running on integrated graphics.
i have been looking at the rx series gpus and looking for information as to whether or not my CPU will cause a bottleneck with any of the RX cards? thanks in advance:)

It shouldn't. The Rx460 is a budget card the in RX line. And the 7860k cpu is a more than capable CPU for gaming. You should be fine. Just make sure you disable the integrated graphics through the bios or software!

Okay thank you for you reply. I just want to play modern AAA titles at 1080p with at least 60fps.

You might get away with 720p at 60fps with medium~ish settings.
1080p? Neither your CPU nor graphics card are up to par for 1080p 60fps on halfway decent settings. You'd probably have to play on the lowest settings possible to maintain that 60fps. Even then, it'll probably fluctuate wildly.

The A10 won't bottleneck an RX460. It probably won't bottleneck an RX470. Your whole system will just suffer together, being too weak for the task at hand. Believe me, I've been there.

The RX460 might be a budget card. But it can hold its own on medium settings in AAA games. Now the CPU might hold it back. But i certainly doubt it.

I was play game and it's great for me,setting high-ultra is smooth

AC4 black flag
AC syndicate
Call of duty all series
The witcher3 and many more.
