Hello

I am.building a budget pc and am confused between few boards offered by asus ....

Although they are the same chipset but then are very few differences in them

Searched a lot online for an answer but did not get one . Hence calling tomshardware to the rescue .

Please help choose
Asus H110m-d
Asus H110m-k
Asus H110m-a

Which and why ... I dont understand the difference clearly between the 3

Solution
All H110 boards will use an Intel CPU. However the onboard network port will depend on the individual motherboard. Intel makes the better NICs, but they tend to be on the more expensive boards.

There's actually 3 different H110M-A boards.
The H110M-A is the the basic model.

The H110M-A/DP is the same as the basic model, except they put a displayport connector on the motherboard. Very handy if you don't intend on using a video card with this motherboard and are relying on the built in video of the CPU

The H110M-A/M.2 has all the stuff the basic has, but upgraded the NIC to an Intel model and added an M.2 (Sata and PCIe) storage option.

If you intend on using a video card with this build, your best bet would be the basic model or...
The A gives you a better NIC, the K and D use realtek, but the A uses an Intel chip. Other than that, it looks pretty identical in terms of features. The build quality on the A is likely better than the D or K. Asus doesn't even list the D on its main page of motherboards so they may have discontinued it.

If you intend on using a video card with this build, your best bet would be the basic model or the M.2 model since the extra displayport wont do anything for you. If you can, I'd recommend the M.2 model. You get a better NIC and you get the option of using an M.2 SSD at some point if you so choose.
