From what you've given about your system you should have enough power supplied from your PSU to work a GTX 1080.
In future, hop over to PCPartPicker, they tell you if parts are compatible or not (though it's not always 100% accurate.).

It depends on what you tack on. I.e. hdds/ssds, fans, and how much usb devices you're going to use etc. Here's a power supply calculator I use.
