So the product is a Zotac Sonix 480GB NVMe PCIe SSD and can be found here:

https://www.amazon.com/ZOTAC-SONIX-low-profile-support-ZTSSD-PG3-480G-GE/dp/B01C8MCA8C/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1474875929&sr=8-1&keywords=zotac+sonix+480gb#Ask

My computer is brand new and it can be found here:

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus-desktop-intel-core-i7-12gb-memory-1tb-8gb-hybrid-hard-drive-gray/4819400.p?skuId=4819400

The chipset is the Intel H110 if that matters...

I'm using this computer to store a SQL server. I want me operating system and everything on it, so it needs to be bootable. The company hasn't gotten back to me yet and need to know. How can I tell?

Yes, speed and access time are critical because we are working with a SQL server.

1. How would I find out if it is compatible for sure? Am I looking for a certain feature or name?

2. Also, once I have the product installed, would I be able to find out if its bootable before cloning it? Or would I have to clone the hard drive first and then hope its bootable?

Its for work so the boss wants me to know before I spend hours cloning it.

Thanks for the info :)
