Hello, over the past 2 weeks i have a weird problem with my internet connection. Every day between 10.30am and 11.30 am i would randomly lose connection for a few minutes.

I am with a wired broadband (fibre optic) connection, there is no router, Also i have a static IP address.

I've double checked my firewall/antivirus progrmas and other software, any schedules, etc.. I have no viruses or anything, nothing software related on my end is interfering or doing anything at that time of the day.

Also at the same time i've been having other weird problems, like sometimes web pages would not load, saying the dns server could not be found, or during playing online games i would dc/get heavy lag and high latency for 10-20 seconds.,

Any idea what's causing this? I've already called my ISP once and also sent them emails with WinMTR logs showing 2000ms jumps or small 1-2% losses of packets, but nothing seems to be fixed so far, and they tell me my connection is fine and it's showing that i have been constantly connected for the past 23 hours ( which is a lie because on my end shows only a 17 hours connection )

Is it something environmental that my ISP can't see with their monitoriwng software perhaps? Any ideas/insight is appreciated.

How do you get your connection terminated? what device do you connect to to get an internet connection as you mention "there is no router"?

I would probably say this is something with the ISP and suggest getting them to check logs on the switches you are connected to on their side. They will see disconnects etc
