Hello. This situation has left me rather perplexed. I simply have never come across this before and I could really do with a few pointers. OK, here goes:

I moved a PC (acting as a logon server) from one room to another, when I fired up the machine, it gets as far as the Windows boot logo before flashing the "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart" message. It flashes so quick you barely have time to read it. It simply loops and never reaches the desktop.

I decided to move the PC back to its original location and switch it back on. It boots without any issues.

I decided to reboot the machine with only the mouse, keyboard and monitor to ensure the issue wasn't network related. It booted fine.

I shutdown the machine again, unplugged from the mains, unplugged the monitor, left the mouse and keyboard plugged in and moved to the other room again. I plugged into mains, hooked up a monitor and switched it on. It just will not boot to Windows when in this room.

It's driving me insane! What on earth could be causing it to boot in one room but not another? Help Me!

Here are some brief specs of the machine if it helps:

Model: HP ProLiant ML310e Gen8 v2 x64
BIOS: HP (version: P78; date: 3/28/2014) vP78
CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1220 v3 @ 3.10GHz (architecture: x64; 3100 MHz)
OS: Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials (version 6.3.9600; build 9600)

Is the socket in the second room rated for the continuous throughput of that system? Maybe you have a better wall circuit in the first room than the second.

Unless you have a ghost in the second room that just keeps screwing with you. ;)
