pc wont turn on please help

I used to be able to clear the cmos of my pc and it would start up but now nothing works. When i click the power button it doesnt turn on and when i try to start the pc manually by trying to jump the power button pins nothing happens. I have an asrock z170 pro4s motherboard. Please help, Im not so tech savy and would like to fix this

That sounds like either a motherboard issue or a PSU issue, we should wait for others to comment on this post to see what they think.

In my opinion I think that you should replace your power supply and see if that solves the problem.

ok so this is weird, i was continuously tinkering with a screw driver on the cmos pins for about a hour and then it finally turned on. can someone please tell me why this is and what my problem could be.

usualy i leave the the pc on cause of this but is there any way i can test my psu for this faliure because allot of my friends beleive it is a psu faliure
