I have been looking at HTPC cases to change from my current chassis. here

The only reason I like this style of case is for aesthetic reasons. I keep my computer on a table and would rather have a big case that is horizontal rather than vertical. But I also dont want to compromise on what I have. What are some of the pitfalls of building a PC in such a case without compromising on components.

My current Specs (with where I want to head to)
CPU Intel 5820k (want to switch out for the 8 core in the future)
MB: MSI x99 SLI PLUS
GFXc: Nvidia Gtx 780 (probably gonna switch out for a new model but at least 4-8gb)
RAM: 32GB RipJaws G Skill (want to upgrade to 64gb)
Kryorig Fan cooler (but I want to upgrade to a water cooler)
4x HDD (2 SSD and 2 HDD) (I can consolidate Drives though, I think I could do with 4 as a max, I use externals)
Blu Ray Optical Drive
Wifi Card

Typically, the problems with HTPC cases are cooling and space for components. This case has space for six cooling fans, but how the components are oriented will determine just how effective they are.

The problem with that particular case is that it only accepts a slimline optical drive AND ONLY if you are using a Micro-ATX or smaller motherboard.
