PC keeps crashing when playing games

Hi my PC is almost 2 years old and I've found within the last 3 or 4 months that it crashes consistently with 15 minutes of playing games (Wether they're demanding or not) someone please help!
CPU: i5-4460 @3.2 ghz
GPU: GTX 760
16gb RAM
Windows 10

Have you looked at temperatures to be sure that is not an issue?

Next idea would be bad RAM. If your RAM is overclocked, try downclocking it to 1600 to see if that helps.

how would you suggest looking at temperatures? and what temperature would be optimal?

Temperatures should be in the 40-50 deg C range at low load and hopefully below 80 deg C when under load (gaming). Really, the components shouldn't complain until over 90-100 deg C, but that's not a good place to be.

I've seen that whilst playing a number of games that ran smoothly the temp didn't get about 60C but now a couple of my saves have been deleted and when I try and load anot her game it only gets to the loading screen then goes black. would this be something to do with the HDD

If files suddenly disappear, which you did not yourself delete, then yes that could be a HDD issue.

Download (free) and run Crystal Disk Info:

If your disk error count or reallocated sector count is too high, your disk may be starting to fail.
