My budget wont let me buy any better gpu than for 200€ and considering these 2 GPUs, i cant decide. Simply... is there any significant difference between gtx 960 and gtx 970? I dont want to spend everything on something that does the same "job" as the cheaper one.
Explaining it to me as to 5 year old child would be the best, cause ive never needed to buy new gpu by myself.

Solution
A GTX 960 will play games slower, but use less power from your computers power supply.

A 970 will play games faster, but use more power from your computers power supply.

Both those cards are last-generation, I'd look at something newer like a GTX 1060.

Assuming the rest of your system can handle the 970, yes, you will see a difference between the 960 and 970. The 960 will struggle with newer games on max settings, but if you are okay with dumbing down the graphics for better fps, then the 960 would be fine. The 970 can handle most current games on highest settings and get good fps.

If you can afford both, and are just asking if it is worth buying the 970, then my answer would be yes. Buy the 970.
