ports not open even after opening on vpn account

hi guys, just like the title says im having problems with opening ports. im using ra4w vpn and opened a port on my account, i switched off my firewall completely and connected to the vpn, i even checked the ip assigned to me to be sure it was the same ip i opened the port on, but i still see port closed when i scan on online port scanners. i tried different ports after and the result's still the same. i need help

Are you connecting to the VPN using software on your PC? Or are you setting this up on a router/firewall? Something is blocking you might need a port opened on a network device which might be causing your problems

Im using some RATs to test it...{using it to listen}
if it helps other common ports like port 80 is also reading as closed
