Problem while swapping gpu (Amd to Nvidia)

Are you using both GPU's at the same time? Do you have a display adapter on the MB? If so use that connection (with both GPU's not in the system) and go and uninstall all GPU drivers, shut down the system and install the 750ti then power back up. From there you should be able to download the newest drivers from Nvidia.

Ok if thats the case its definitely NOT the drivers. Can you double check that your GPU is securely installed and as well the power connectors are on? Do you see it power up (fans turn on?)

Are you connecting the monitor (via cable) to the GPU or to the MB? It needs to be connected to the GPU.
I am connecting it to the gpu via hdmi(my chip doesnt have intergrated graphics).I also forgot to mention that I tried clearing the cmos because I thought it would be helpful when swapping gpus.Can this be the reason why my pc has black screen?

You didn't need to clear the CMOS when swapping cards but I'm not sure if that would cause this issue.

When you power up do the fans spin up on your CPU and power supply? Do any lights on your motherboard light up? Or is the computer completely dead?

Yes bad ram will do that. In the future this is very important information so if you run into trouble swapping hardware in the future make sure you mention EVERYTHING you did. Had you mentioned this before I would have gotten you the answer immediately.
