There seems to be something wrong with the cable from my wall and into the PSU, it must be held in a very specific position to allow power to flow into the system and if i drop let go of it it will keep giving power to my system for 30sec max. If i don't hold it in the correct position i will hear an electronic buzz which is rather disconcerting.
it would be possible to just take a few rubber bands and pin it in the correct position but that sounds like a house fire waiting to happen. I am using the "EVGA 430W Power Supply" and i'm 99% sure i am using the correct cable.
