Possible CPU Upgrade ideas ?

Hey Guys

I am Currently Running AMD FX-4170 , Quad Core machine , which has been working Well since i got it , But always had a Noisy CPU , I believe the CPU cooler is just a very basic , cheap AMD single fan ,

I Have been looking to Upgrade to a cheap (around 30 - 40 bucks or so )but better one that is quiet and more efficient for my PC ,

I have been looking at Artics Freezer 13 , But have no ideas as to what is compatible , my PSU is 500 W , Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Arctic is low quality. If you just need a basic cooler and don't plan to overclock the Coolermaster Hyper T2 will do the job and its around 15 bucks.

Or the TX3 (can't find the T2 on newegg anymore)

I am only Running a 500w cheap PSU and a gtx750 ti , will i still have enough power to run these ?

These fans are all quite low wattage, any of them would be fine with it.

and i have ordered a new heat sink for the pc )

in addition , would anyone be able to Advise me on a Budget , but silent PSU upgrade ? I'm on a cheap 500W atm , so i was guessing 700 would be a decent starter to help my gpu.

Why upgrade the PSU? Do you plan on getting a good graphics card? If so I highly suggest upgrading the CPU too. The FX 4170 is terrible for gaming.

Upgrading the PSU is a good idea but you do not need more wattage, in fact 500w is probably plenty. But buying a better quality PSU is always a good idea.

Post the rest of your system specs and also it sounds like you're not in the US so if you can post some places you may order from we can find one for you.
