Hi,
I have a Oneplus X running Oxygen OS 3.1.1 and tried to flash a new ROM and found out i have no recovery. When booting to it, it stays stuck on the oneplus logo. When trying to boot a ROM using fastboot it gives the error: "FAILED (remote: dtb not found)". My bootloader is unlocked, "fastboot oem device-info" gives:
(bootloader) device tampered: false
(bootloader) device unlocked: true
(bootloader) charger screen enabled: false
(bootloader) display panel:
(bootloader) console_enabled: 0
(bootloader) exec_console_unconsole: 0
OKAY

My adb is enabled and it's connected with my pc, I have my device drivers and fastboot/adb drivers installed. I tried on a computer and a laptop, both running windows 10.

Does anyone have an idea of what I can try? I definitely hope it isn't bricked.

Download a recovery with IMG format for your phone, rename to something more easier like "recovery.img". Paste it in same directory as fastboot on your PC. Fire up your phone in fastboot mode and on PC use this fastboot command:

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

recovery.img is the file that you pasted earlier, after that it should be good.

Did that:

Then when I boot to recovery using power button and volume down, it remains stuck on the oneplus logo

Are you exactly trying this method to boot into recovery??
Turn off the device
Press and hold Volume Down key + Power Key about 10 seconds
Release Power key only when device vibrates
Release Volume down key when Adroid Recovery mode appears
Use Volume key to select Menu
Use Power key to Confirm or Execute Menu

When doing that, the phone vibrates after ~2 seconds, then I release the power button and hold the volume down button. After 10 seconds it's still stuck on the OnePlus logo. I can boot to fastboot with volume up, so the problem should be somewhere else. I was thinking that maybe my recovery partition was somehow corrupted.

I did try to flash the correct SuperSU file, but after that my phone wouldn't boot(had CyanogenMod), so I then flashed oxygen OS (original ROM). That installed successfully but had no recovery.

When you flash recovery you let your phone boot up? If yes then its the issue here. When you flash recovery and type fastboot reboot and phone starts rebooting you need to press your key combo to enter recovery just when it shuts off screen to start again. Some phones automatically erase custom recovery just when you reboot so you need to enter in recovery before its replaced by stock recovery.

Tried that, when holding down and power buttons right after flashing it still stays stuck on the oneplus logo

https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/guide-mega-unbrick-guide-for-a-hard-bricked-oneplus-x.417648/ do you think maybe this guide works? Orts a recovery from a hard bricked phone. I should get the stock ROM and recovery right?

I suggest you not to mess with ROM unless your recovery is working. With recovery you could easily recover messed up ROM.

Flash stock recovery and see if it works without getting stuck on logo. If it works dont flash TWRP but use this command:
fastboot boot recovery.img
and see if TWRP works on your phone.

Tried to flash the stock recovery, but it still doesn't work. Also when I try to boot the stock or TWRP recovery using fastboot boot recovery.img, it gives the following error:

I just rooted my phone using KingRoot, I tried flashing a recovery using the twrp app, but with no luck. It told me it was successful but after booting to it, it still remained on the OnePlus logo.

Edit: just found out I have no recovery folder:
