Hey, I've currently got a Logitech G930 Wireless gaming headset and I'm looking to upgrade. I'm looking at getting the G933 but I'm not sure if that's the best option for the price.

I have around $150 to spend, I want it to have 7.1 audio, and I'd prefer it be wireless but that's not a necessity.

Thanks for the help!

hd558 ($99) + modmic ($50) + xonar dg ($30) would be a good start.
or on a cheaper budget, the hd518 and just using onboard audio (if it has virtual surround) or razer virtual surround.

most headsets are all virtual anyways so there is not much improvment by using a gaming headset. as far as audio quality, headphones are often far better than gaming headsets.

or.. just buy the game one. its equivalent to the above hd518/hd558 + mic
