Games keep freezing.

Hello, my games are starting to freeze and lag spike. I get around 90+ FPS for around 1 minute then it freezes.


When I got my CPU i only had the smallest bit of thermal paste avaliable to use so could that be the issue? when i mean small i mean small. as I was running games fine for a while.. then issues starting happening after running intense cpu games.

(ARMA) for example.

Could be overheating. A small bit of thermal paste will probably be fine. Unlike graphics cards, you can get away with not covering the entire CPU die with thermal paste. I had this problem with a game once aswell. But when it froze it was only the game. Is your entire PC freezing or is it just the game?

It's just the game. When i 1st got it i was running all games max no issues. Now i'm lag spiking every 1 minute/30 seconds on high end games. games like cs:go i run 250+ fps no issue.
