All right before we get started I just want you to know that if you say "contact your ISP" I will ignore you since that has nothing to do with it. But for some odd reason, my Internet went to cancer a few days ago. I had around 85 megabits persecond, and for some cancerous reason now I only have 10 or less. This is super bad since I want to play forza horizon 3 without having to wait a Whole 20 hours. I've tried restarting my modem n ... and it's still slower than a .... turnips reaction time. Please help me

<Language, please. Thanks>

OK...so let's investigate.

First off, are you connecting wired or WiFi?
Second, is this cable, DSL, fiber, what?
Third, what are you ssupposed to be getting from the ISP?
Fourth, is this an apartment, college dorm, single family house, other?

Who is your ISP?

What speed do you get when testing at speedtest.net?

My ISP is Xfinicancer or Comcast, and I normally get like 10 mbps on speedtest now, but not long ago it was at 85 or 90 ish which was optimal for me and i loved it

If your actual plan is ~85mbps, and you personally have done nothing, and you are wired directly to the router, and now you get ~10mbps...

...your next move is "contact your ISP".

Now that we are on sort of the same page, in the WiFi world....

What else has changed in your environment?
Moved the PC a little? Moved the Linksys adapter a little? CHanged the orientation of the antenna(s)?
Other people? Congestion from neighbors?
Is this the only system affected?

What has changed recently?

And finally....what do you get with an actual physical wire, direct from your PC (or any device), direct to the router?
