No HDMI or DVI Signal on Asus GTX750TI - But VGA works fine

Hi,

I recently built a brand new PC, and I have run into a rather unusual issue. Essentially, the graphics card will not provide any output on it's digital outputs (HDMI and DVI); but it runs fine and displays OK on the VGA.

I initially I suspected that the issue may have been my power supply not being able to cope with the load, to test this I ran Furmark for about ten mins, which maxed out the card's possible current draw without issue.

When connected to HDMI or DVI, the monitor simply goes into No Signal mode. Furthermore, the system doesn't even show the BIOS/UEFI when on DVI/HDMI, so I don't think this is an issue with windows.

So I am rather baffled as to why everything works perfectly on VGA, but none of the other connections.

If anyone could help I would be very appreciative!

Specs:
i7-4790
Asus H97M-E Motherboard
Asus GTX-750 Ti OC Edition (with Six Pin power connected!)
Corsair CX430 Power Supply

How old is your monitor? How old was your previous GPU? How do you know that the HDMI port also doesn't work since your monitor doesn't have HDMI? Have you connected a TV there? Maybe your new GPU has a DVI port that uses the latest DVI revision so there maybe a compatibility issue between the GPU and cable or GPU and monitor, because they are too old. Finally your GPU could have a bad DVI port but before you get there you have to test it with another cable and another monitor.
Have you tried another DVI, HDMI cable or another monitor? How many inputs does your current monitor have? If your monitor has many display inputs it may choose the right input automatically or you may have to manually select it from the monitor menu. Look in your monitor's menu for something like source or input option and choose the display input that you are currently using.

I'm using a Packard Bell Viseo series monitor, it has VGA and DVI, its not possible to force the monitor to use a particular source, as it will use which ever input is connected, you can only decide which source to use when both inputs are active. I know the monitor and the cables are fine as it is exactly the same equipment I was using on my previous machine.

When the DVI is connected the monitor will auto select the DVI input but there is no display.
