Specs;
CPU-4690k stock speed for now
GPU-Zotac 1080 FE was oc'ed
RAM-16gb 2133mhz Ripjaws
MOBO-Msi z97 PC Mate
SSD(os)-Samsung 850 Evo 500gb
SSHD-Seagate 1TB (don't recall exact model name)

Ok so for the past 2 weeks I've had my PC dead and not working and I'm literally at the point of just giving up and selling everything so I don't have this headache anymore. So 2 weeks ago my PC starts freezing while gaming, I initially lowered my CPU oc a bit, all the way down to stock clocks, that didn't work, so I reset my bios settings to default, didn't work either. I tried booting with only one stick of ram in different slots, tried with some old ram I had lying around, nothing. So I decided to buy a new motherboard. Still the exact same issue, at this point I'm almost 100% certain it HAS to be my CPU, since that was the only part left that I hadn't purchase in the last 6-10 months. Well here I am and the problem is still here. Pardon my language but it has been so fucking frustrating replacing practically everything in my PC and it's brought me nothing but problems. I bought this ram around 6 months ago or so, are they already dead? Am I missing something obvious here? Please I need any sort of help and diagnostic on to what is freezing my PC. Please.

When you boot up does it crash and then automatically reboot? Most of the instances I have seen of this issue is with faulty RAM or RAM slot. How many sicks of RAM do you have and did you test with all of them? Also have you updated your bios version for the motherboard? You can do this by going to MSI's website and at the top right hit support then Download & Manual. Another screen will pop to break down what component your looking for specifically. Click motherboard then intel platform then socket 1150 then Z97 EXPRESS then Z97 PC MATE. At this point your motherboard should pop up on the right with links below click on Download. BIOS should be the first tab then download the latest update 4.B which has more support for DDR3 and...
Are you damaging pins in the socket while installing CPU? You said you tried two different models of RAM so dont see how it can be that. Maybe CPU. Did you install cooler too tightly maybe? You dont list what cooler you have in your spec.

I just formatted my SSD and did a fresh install of windows and currently freeze between the bios and before windows actually launching. So yes fans spin, can boot into BIOS, and my PC posts.

Mobo is new like I said, no pins damaged, I never touched them and was gentle installing my new CPU. I didn't install the cooler hard either. My CPU cooler is a Hyper 212 Evo.

Download it to a usb and go to the bios then there should be a button somewhere that says flash go through that and update from the USB. If this does not work I would have to point to the SSD or HDD. Does windows attempt to run before it crashes?
