Please recommend me a classic, used or new, not breaking the bank, EFFICIENT router

Solution
I don't recommend used routers. Routers have a lifespan that generally lasts a few years before they reach the end of their life.
Asus N300 is probably what I would recommend. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833320168

ASUS is a good reliable brand, is it flashy and capable of hosting a ton of devices? No. But if you are using it for a few devices, you should be fine.

If I could change your opinion, I would recommend looking at a more expensive AC-1750 (around $110-$120), it has 2.4ghz and a 5ghz network, good speeds as well.
