Hello I have come back to my PC after almost a month (been on holiday) and when I turned it on my monitor was not working. I know my PC is on because I can hear the fans whirring and the lights are all on.
My monitor just repeatedly flashes between analog/digital and then switches off... Why is that? The monitor works with a laptop though, so could the problem be on my PC's end?
Monitor: Samsung Syncmaster 2253lw
PC Specs:
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760
CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz
RAM: 16GB
I connect my PC to the monitor through a HDMI/DVI converter. Also, could the problem relate to my graphics card since it is a little old?
