I am not certain that your motherboard can utilize the full capabilities of the R7! The motherboard features 1 x Generation 2 PCI-e (x16) card slot; for your graphics card.

Here are some technical specs on PCI-e

Your current card has a total bandwidth of 179.2 GB/s, however I imagine that this speed is the data transfer rate between the graphics processor and the graphics RAM. I guess the question is how much data flows between the graphics card and the motherboard?

I'm not sure exactly what you mean. But will my current motherboard support the gtx 1060 6gb? My 270X seems to run fine with this motherboard, but if anyone thinks my MOBO is not fully utilizing the card I'd love to hear feedback.
