Quick Web Access - Splashtop Browser nonsense.

About once a week, when I boot up my Sony laptop, instead of getting my desktop, I get the nonsensical Quick Web Browser, which,a) is neither quick, nort 2) web access. In fact, everything seems to be dead, and I have to turn off, and re-try.
How to get rid of this, please?

Everything OK (I think). I found a program which was installed on my laptop, QuickWebQccess. I have now 'machine-gunned' it, and hope that it's the last time I experience this problem.
