Hi there, I have built my first PC today and after all parts were connected including front panel header. I plugged in and pressed the power button and no response, not a single beep.
Let me write down my specs first.
Intel I5 6500
Gigabyte H110N
Kingston 2*8 DDR4 2400 Mhz
Kingston SSDNow V300 120 Gb
Hitachi 2.5'' 7200 rpm HDD
Thermaltake Core V1 Case
Arctic Freezer i11 cooler
Corsair VS550 PSU

I went out and checked front panel headers a few times and they seem fine.
Then I pull out all PSU cables from MoBo, and tested PSU with a wire by short circuiting green wire on 24 pin ATX connector, and it works with fans and harddrives connected.
But when I reconnect it to PC no response again.
What can the issue be? I am thinking of faulty motherboard but want to have your information too.

Well thank you and sorry at the same time.
After a few hours I realized I connected the 4 pin CPU connector wrong, it's symmetrical and when i turned it 180 degrees it worked with no problem. I don't know how did I miss that notch on the connector??

No idea but I have nearly made fatal errors in the past too, with my current PC I nearly booted with only one CPU power connector in the motherboard not both of them, it was only when i said "Why is this cable spare?" that I realised :D
