Psu spark and pop noise

Hi so I just recently built a new pc ill list the spec just incase gpu-gtx1080 psu corsair Rm 750x cpu i7 6700k ram 16gb idk if that info is needed but anyway I had this build for about a month now and just recently these few days I been smelling a kind of burning...but not really more just like heat coming from my pc but for some reason I just ignored it and brushed it off as my pc just heating from playing games and it wasnt to strong a smell but i did notice and just a few hours ago I got off my pc and just recently tried to turn it on and it powered on for a second leds came on and the psu made a pop sound with a blue spark and i kinda hesitated a second and it sparked and popped again and then I turned the pc and unplugged all the cables from my pc I got kinda close and i smelled the psu it was the same thing I was smelling the days before i also opened the case a few minutes later nothing looks fried and it doesnt smell inside could it just be the psu fried? i dont see why tho i dont OC and i dont play very damanding games im confused on why it started to mess up but i havent checked the rest of my parts cause im not very good with pcs... ill have a friend check for me but if anyone knows why this could have happened let me know I also was running dual monitors and it was plugged into a surge protector along with my monitors the surge protector is old prob more than 6 years if thats means anything

Hello!

Yes your PSU has exploded unfortunately, I had the exact same thing from my old gaming PC, playing it then all of a sudden bang and everything went off and it wouldn't turn on, you will have to get a replacement PSU and get rid of your old one.
