Hello,
Long story short im going to Argentina in a month and i want to take there my i5 3470 so when i come back here to Italy i bring with me the i5 3570k i have there, the problem is that there is a tax to pay for bringing electronics to argentina and i dont want to pay it, so i thought the following:
I put the CPU inside my smartphone's battery slot, that way they wont realize right?

Probably not but you may want to make sure you are not breaking any serious laws in Argentina doing that if you do get caught. They may consider that smuggling and you could get in some serious trouble.

But are you sure you would even need to pay a tax? I did find this "Travelers entering Argentina can bring personal effects -- including clothes, jewelry, and professional equipment such as cameras and computers -- without paying duty. In addition, they can bring in 21 liters of alcohol, 400 cigarettes, and 50 cigars duty-free."

I don't know if I'd try putting it in your cell phone's battery compartment; aside from potential physical damage to your CPU, residual EMI in the phone could potentially affect it in some way as well.

Best thing to do is just claim it at customs and if you have to pay the tax, so be it. You don't want to get caught potentially smuggling and wind up on a warning list every time you travel for the rest of your life, do you? Totally not worth it.
