I need a new headphone and im not sure which one to get. I will use it for gaming and music. In my country both of them cost around the same price about 130 us dollars. I dont like the fact that the grado is a oped headset but I dont mind it too much. Which do you think is the best one in comfort, audio quality ext... if you need to know more than please tell me and thanks in advence :)

I can't speak to the SR80Es but I am a happy owner of the Audio Technica ATH-M50x. My understanding is that the differences between the M40x and M50x are minimal and hard to discern for most users.

I use these headphones every day for almost the entire workday and love them. I rarely experience ear fatigue and find the sound to have a nice balance, one that is not overpoweringly bass heavy (as most headphones are manufactured today). Best of all I can throw them in my bag with abandon and not worry about them breaking. The construction and design on these headphones is really top notch. Can't recommend them enough!

Amazon isnt available for me but the Grado costs 100 dollars there and the M40x costs 80 dollar so im not sure if its the right choice considering they both cost around the same price for me.
