I have 1 of those Ibuypower crappy desktops. its an o.kish PC, with some cheap components. I got it on around Aug 2014, so for 2 years it has been working great. BSOD every now and then about every 3 months but hey stuff happens

Just now, I tried to play WoW on it with the new update. For some fkin unknown reason after the update(i havent played in about 6 months) it put my settings on maximum when i launched it. I told myself no big deal, ill change it. Well, I forgot about that, and then was going to mess around and multibox lvl 20 trial toons (it involves launching 5-6 windows of Warcraft, basically). So I launched 6 Warcrafts on MAXIMUM setting.

The machine kind of made a static noise, the monitor flickered twice and went black. The power to the mouse went out and keyboard. I plugged and unplugged all the power cables I could find, especially the one connecting the motherboard. Replaced the motherboard battery. Nothing.

Do you think the motherboard is toast? What would be some good ones to get? Or wait until Black Friday? I am not sure if I am posting this in the right category. Also I am a college student so money is kind of tight right now, this really sucks. Came home to release stress after exams and then this shite happens ;/

the motherboard is Gigabyte Ultra Durable GA-H81M-H Desktop Motherboard - Intel H81 Chip

Solution
Those ready made machines usually have cheapest, just enough PSUs.
My bet would be on PSU. Changing to some known good PSU is easiest and cheapest test.
