Hi I have a dell inspiron 537s I have been looking in to graphics card upgrades and cpu upgrades now I have found out that I can put an intel core 2 quad in to it for a cpu but I am having trouble finding a graphics card for it.

Some Specs:
PCIe X16 v1.1 (one slot)
power: 120w (can get bigger one) Edit: Power: 250W (still can get bigger one if needed)

Also does on board graphic have an effect?

Solution
The Zotac you linked to above would get extremely hot in that little case. I would get one with a fan. Is it the 4GB that you are after? If so, what resolution is your display?

Do you want to get a card safe to use with that PSU, or do you want to get a replacement PSU first?
Because there are not a lot of PSU replacements that will work well in a OEM like the DEL. In fact, the best you can do for a low-profile gfx card that will fit the slim-line case is a GTX 750 Ti.

Is this what the inside of your 537s looks like? http://www.computershopper.com/var/ezwebin_site/storage/images/media/images/dell-inspiron-537s-motherboard/254382-1-eng-US/dell-inspiron-537s-motherboard_maxwidth.jpg

yes that is what it looks like in side now it doesn't have to be a low-profile card I can swap to a bigger case. Now the GTX 750 Ti looks like a good card but the version of PCI its compatible for is v3.0 and I have v1.1 would that work?

what about this card? the ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce GT 730 2GB DDR5 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500368&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC-_-pla-_-Video+Card+-+Nvidia-_-N82E16814500368&gclid=CjwKEAjw97K_BRCwmNTK26iM-hMSJABrkNtbdfG2N-5Yon32uYy6ZUtXE1ViEhWgGUXIwJwboOEBnhoCs1Pw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

PCIe is a backward compatible interface.
You changed on me again. Now you are saying you are going to swap out the motherboard, drive(s), etc to a new case? Be aware that Dell front panel connections are not always standard. Dell likes to use proprietary connections for speedy assembly line work. You may have trouble matching the new case's FP wiring to the Dell motherboard. My two Dells are that way. So was my previous one.
