reformat?WD SATA 1 TB drive. I have a WD10EACS which shows up as only 32 mb but I think I have data on it at the 1 TB level. I have Spinrite but it won't work on SATA drives. Is there any program I can get that is similar to Spinrite but for SATA drives?
Any advice appreciated.

Hi there tom42,

Sorry that you are facing some issues with your WD drive. :(
Where is the drive recognized as having 32 mb? Have you checked BIOS and Disk management?

As for the data recovery, there are many threads on that in the community. You can check that article out as well: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/filerecovery/tp/free-file-recovery-programs.htm

Once you've recovered your data, it will not hurt to check the drive's health out: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=R54hAQ
