Hi!
I'm about to buy my 2nd monitor, but what monitor?

Currently i have a: 24' 144hz 1920x1080 AOC G2460F

What kind of monitor can i buy? I just want a 2nd monitor for movies, browsing the internet etc.

Is it possible that i can buy a bigger monitor like, 27 inch? or is it best to have a identical monitor?
Can i buy a bigger resolution than current one, such as 4k?
Can i buy a different a different monitor brand?

What's the best choice of 2nd monitors?

Solution
Both Monitors will behave the way they would if you wouldn't have the other.
But different monitors have other colour spectrums, differences in height, in light, in contrast.
Some people find that annoying, I find it kinda nice

So no issues, what about the higher hz? doesnt it affect the other monitors? I heard, if you have a high Hz it might affect the other monitors?

Anyway thanks!

So no issue? I read this on Reddit
"1 year ago The best second monitor is one that's identical to your primary monitor. There's no other way around it. Otherwise you get color and backlight differences, bezel size differences and height differences. Just lots of annoying little quirks" Is it true?

of course if they aren't the same size, the picture won't look exactly the same, won't be at the same height, color, etc.

personally I think that's a good thing. Idc if my browser is half a cm higher up than the game I'm playing
also I WANT the colors to be different as brightness and colors in games are a different setting as for my browser
yes, some people might be annoyed by that
I think it's a feature

But will my Primary monitor be normal/ be able to use it without any annoying things?
