My computer is seemingly randomly restarting (no blue screen so it cant be drivers). I have already swapped out processors, cooling, and dusted a lot of it. I noticed that one time I touched my PSU and it restarted, so i reconnected all cables and made sure fan was spinning freely, but its still been doing it. I will try swapping out my GTX 960 for the 1070, and report results, and also I will swap out my PSU.

Please help!!!

Does the power cord have a good connection in the outlet? Any power bars, surge protectors, etc. in the power path?

Likewise on the PSU end of the power cord - is the plug securely in place? Try another power cord just to eliminate the power cable as the problem source.

How old is the existing PSU - make and model? That information may help someone spot a known problem.

Do you see any error messages or warnings in the Event Viewer logs? Some process or service that is starting or stopping just before or at the time of the restart?
